2007 SEMA Show - Online Exclusive Coverage

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Except for SEMA.

Welcome aboard! Sit back, relax, and let me give you the rundown on two and half days spent exploring the SEMA show instead of sitting at the office.

Condensed into one story told purely through captions, hopefully we will both be entertained the entire time.

This year we stayed at the Flamingo Hotel. Yes, they're real.

This is the monorail which took us from the Flamingo to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Kind of like a Disneyland ride, only in the name of business.

The bottom line is that the SEMA show is HUGE.

Companies show off their products, give away cool swag, and "do business."

It's always crowded, and after a few hours, you experience sensory overload. To others you appear to be walking, reading, and engaging. On the inside, you are thinking about how good it's going to feel to sit down, and wondering just how bad that blister really is.

This guy has the right idea.

Anyway, you might recognize some of these booths...

Hundreds of your favorites were there, so forgive me for not showing YOUR company...

Tons of new products are introduced at each year's SEMA show. Now you can say you've seen them all... at the same time.

Toyota was in full force this year, having their own Driving Grounds outside. Some have said this was Toyota's show...

Toyota Tundras doing some crazy off road work. I was entertained at how going over these obstacles pulled the rear wheel off the ground each time.

Unfortunately none tipped, but I wanted to have my camera ready just in case.

The Air Bag Man still won't go out with me.

It's all fun and games inside this Scion.

How about some RC drifting? I looked for the body dropped RC drift truck, but it must have been hiding. Maybe next year.

You never know what you'll find at the SEMA show.

Really, you never know. Strange stuff happens at night when everyone leaves.

We found some rebellious cars...

...and some cars that aren't used as cars anymore.

Matt Petro's Project S10 Air Dancer looks fresh, sassy, and new... because it is.

Sure, that's a single cab Nissan.

This is Brandon Lambie's 1989 Toyota Xtra Cab, named Pinky.

We found another lonely S-10 lurking in the hallway. Trucks can't hide from me.

If you look closely at this Dime, you'll see that what looks like the front of the bed is actually the back of the cab - the bed is cut out in front.

The Earthquake booth sports a flashy mini.

Line-x shows off a mini with some old-school flavor.

Who would have known that S10 beds would be such a hit? I'm trying not to be offended.

Ekstensive Metalworks shows us how to lay out hard over 26s.

This Silverado is extremely detailed.

The Raceline Performance Wheels booth gave us something nice to look at.

Yep, this is a 2007 Silverado body dropped over 26s... does this truck look familiar? Maybe you've already seen it on a recent cover.

I hung precariously from a rafter to bring you this '64 Coupe de Ville.
