Slamology 2012 - the 2 day automotive and music festival presented by Gauge Magazine.com at the Lucas Oil Raceway Park in Indianapolis, TN, on June 16-17, 2012 - attracted 960 participants and an impressive 7231 spectators. Over 300 participants alone arrived for the largest IASCA (International Auto Sound Challenge Association) and BD Drag Audio Contest in the world.
The Best of Show Heavy Weight Belt went to John Wargo for his orange 1968 Chevy Camaro SSAWD. Best Paint was presented to Keith Wampler for his black 2006 Dodge Magnum. Best Interior went to Stephen Dangelo for his black 1993 Ford Ranger. Best Engine was awarded to Aaron Gribben for his black/silver/green 1968 Chevy Suburban. Best Engineered was earned by Mark Reeves for his silver 2007 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Dually. Finally, Longest Distance was awarded to Jeanene Hayes and her white 1999 Ford Crown Victoria Police Car. Adrenaline Rush – with 22 members – earned the Club Participation award. In addition to these “Best Of” awards, custom airbrushed awards were presented for over 50 classes.
Slamology also featured a Spade Made bikini contest, a RNL Customs hydraulic demo, cruising lanes, a family kids zone, great vendors, wonderful food, live bands, club games, and tons of good clean automotive fun.
