Even though the club is fairly new to the state, the guys from the Oklahoma chapter of Forgotten Souls are no strangers to putting on some major shows from years past. Most, if not all, have been in the show scene for many years, being in clubs that are no longer around or just lending a hand to help out with other clubs' shows. With no truck runs going on in the Sooner State this year, they knew it was time to get a new tradition started.

When the show started up on Saturday, it was just a matter of time before the rain moved in on the fairgrounds. The show just happened to fall on the same weekend that remnants of hurricane Ike came though the state. It just flat out rained all day, but it did not run off the die hard truckers from around the area; everyone found many ways to entertain themselves with all the rain and mud. On Sunday everyone stayed on the asphalt and the sun was out all day, and everyone enjoyed a pretty good weekend.
