When it comes to air suspension, there's a few absolute must-have components, no matter how limited of a budget you're working with. One of the easiest upgrades to improve your control over your air suspension system is to install a switchbox that meets your needs, style, and budget, while still maintaining usability and control. AVS makes tons of unique switchboxes that are compact and super user-friendly. One of the cool features they offer are locking switchboxes. So, if it falls while driving, the switchbox won't go off and cause you to veer across the road into oncoming traffic. We decided to meet up with the pros and show you how they put together their switchboxes in-house, before they get shipped out to you. 1. Here's a look at all of the components to the AVS switchbox, both inside and out. |
2. First things first: The wiring harness was separated and the colors were identified by the technician. |

3. Once the wires were identified, then cut to length, each end was stripped off about a 1/2 inch to prepare for the solder. |
4. Each wire was individually soldered to the switch. |

5. All wires were soldered with proper resistors and diodes, then meticulously triple-checked. |
6. Once everything was checked over and tested, the wiring end cap was screwed into place. |

8. And there you have it: a locking AVS switchbox, complete with labeled wiring instructions for an easy installation. So, now you have no excuses to ditch that old 10-switchbox taking up all of your interior space, and upgrade to one that suits your needs. | |
