Titanium Strength
Turbochargers have been known to bake paint off the underside of hoods, melt electrical wiring, airline, and anything remotely close to this high-temperature heat source.

Design Engineering (DEI) has come to the rescue with their new Titanium Turbo Shield with LR Technology custom-fit for T3 turbochargers. Constructed from pulverized lava rock, extruded into fibers and then woven into a tight weave, this material is given titanium-like strength and durability. A high-temperature-rated silica insulation padding serves as added protection to handle direct continuous heat up to 1,800 degrees F (980°C) and up to 2,500 degrees F (1370°C) of radiant heat. This improvement in under-hood thermal management helps keep more heat inside the turbo to spool up faster while reducing radiant temperatures, resulting in cooler air intake temperatures for improved performance and a boost in horsepower. Livin' Loud
KICKER RS-Series Matched Component Systems use most all of the technologies of supreme QS-Series Systems, giving music lovers yet another source for a complete range of the smoothest, richest frequencies available.

The RS-Series offers a more affordable option for those who seek genuine Kicker high-end performance from their mobile-audio system. The RS65.2 (featuring a 6.5-inch midrange woofer) and RS60.2 (a true 6-inch midrange that also fits 5.25-inch location) let their primary sound flow through speakers that use a polyimide former and copper-clad aluminum wire to help decrease hot temperatures within the motor. Cast-aluminum baskets with nickel-plated, spring-loaded terminals provide additional protection and result in a more durable driver and higher power handling. Each system's 1-inch, high-end tweeter pair with advanced DuPont Tetoron elliptical domes can be installed in a flush, angled, surface, or coaxial mount, the latter allowing the installer to remove aluminum phase plugs from the midrange speakers' centers and screw in special adapters and tweeters.
