I took a physics class and remember learning about anodes and cathodes but I didn't realize a practical application could be found in the process of welding. Is MIG welding more common than other forms of welding and is it easier to learn than GMAW? I have several cousins who have learned how to weld and they use the skills to build various structures at their home. I'm not sure what type of welding they do specifically but it seems like a practical skill to have. http://www.advantagemanufacturingltd.com/cnc_mill_and_lathe.html
