6.After you get comfortable with the straight lines, it's time to tackle curves. To produce a good curved line, you have to dedicate one of your base fingers as the pivot. Find a comfortable spot for your pivot finger and start. As the line curves, you'll need to swing out your elbow and maybe even take a step and move your whole body to make it all the way around. Steve made it look easy and put down a near-perfect half circle compared with our lame line next to it.
