Yokohama Tires Thinks Green For The Future
During the next decade, Yokohama Rubber Company (YRC) will plant 500,000 rees, creating nearly 25 acres of new forest. The sites for tree planting will include the Hiratsuka, Japan, factory community, as well as 6 other Japanese facilities, and 11 overseas affiliates.

Hardrock After Sema Show
Everybody who attends SEMA needs to attend next year's Hard Rock show on Friday night. This year's event packed in 283 of the best vehicles in SEMA and the surrounding area into the Hard Rock parking lot. Basically, the way it works is if you see a cool 'bagged truck or car at SEMA, you can go to this show and meet the owner and see it up-close under the Vegas lights. The promoter for the show, Dustin, told us that next year's show promises to be bigger and better, and you can always expect the cool, plaque trophies.

Well, guys, the time has finally come. I never thought we'd see this day, but we officially lost one of my very favorite shows of all time. Yeah, Showfest is gone forever and as I sit and ponder the thought, like many of you, I wonder if there was anything we could have done to prevent it. The more I thought about it, the more I realized Showfest can't be equated to the old Pigeon Forge, and the West Coast river runs, or even to the most recently lost Freakfest, because we didn't lose the show through our own doing. But with that in mind, there have been numerous other great shows that have slipped from our grasp due to the growing nature of turning every single show into an all-out party free from rules, laws, regulations, and self-control.
