Congratulations to this month's Banner Contest Winner, Josh (1998 GMC Jimmy - Typhoon)!
Josh from Jackson, Missouri, owns this '98 GMC Jimmy. After only a year of driving it stock, he decided it was time to add some personal touches. Josh started off by installing a billet grille and clear headlights, but he just couldn't stop there. Next, he added some '02 Camaro SS chrome rims, a painted Envoy spoiler with a LED brake light, clear taillights, a diamond plate on the bumper, a 3/4 drop kit, and chrome handles. Josh also decided to smooth things out a little bit, so he shaved the roof racks, as well as the stock third brake light. As we all know, there's no stopping the customization once it has started. Josh's future plans include an '01 Mustang GT hoodscoop and a supercharger.
Now that's a Minitruck
It's never too early to start cutting up your minitruck. Grant is from Rock Hill, South Carolina, only 18 years old, and he knew after taking ownership of his first truck that it had to be a mini. Grant got this '95 Chevy S-10 and the very first thing on the list was Belltech drop spindles and de-arched springs, which helps with the lowered suspension duties. Then, Grant added clear corners, rear euros, and diamond-back headlights. His truck is rollin' on some American Racing rims and has a one-of-a-kind paintjob. Grant's ride is decked out with a Pioneer sound system, a custom dash, and seats. Like always, there is more to come. Grant still has plans to put his ride on air suspension, 20-inch rims, and smooth out the body by shaving the door handles and the tailgate handle.
This '98 Dodge Dakota is owned by Joshua Perry from Clarksville, Tennessee. After a few years of work here and there, he is a few steps closer to the custom ride of his dreams. The first thing Joshua did was lower his Dakota and bolt up some new 18-inch American Racing rims. Throughout the last couple of years, Joshua has managed to do a little more than just lower the truck. He has added some exterior mods, such as a Cervinis Sniper hood and a Sniper front-bumper cover, along with a Stillen front grille. Joshua has smoothed out the exterior by shaving the emblems, door handles, the fuel door, the third brake light, cab seems, taillights, the tailgate handle, and the wiper cowl. This truck can't get any smoother. The inside, including the doors and the visors, is covered with gray suede and a stainless dash kit. Joshua is rockin' out with Polk Audio and the Play Station 2 in the glovebox. His future plans include a body-drop, a chop top, a fiberglass dash, and a sub enclosure. It's gonna be one-smooth Dakota.
Brad from Cullman, Alabama, has owned this '87 Chevy S-10 for two years now. He has added some of his own mods, including some clear lights, a phantom grille, sport mirrors, a custom bumper, and 18-inch rims. Brad plans to spend the next two years to go all-out and airbag his ride, suicide the doors, shave the handles and a 3-inch body-drop. We can't wait to see the progress over the next couple of years. Keep up the good work!
