Fresh Whip
Doug Parker of Eastville, Virginia, has a fresh outlook and a good start on his '94 Nissan Hardbody. The day after he made it a convertible it rained two inches. We hope he installed drain plugs on that bad boy or he would also be owner of Eastville's newest swimming attraction. Doug is a hardcore mini-trucker, so either way we know he'll be holdin' it down out in the VA.
Phlea?
Phlea of Griffin, Georgia, rolls his '99 Ford Ranger with his club, Static. The most obvious mod to his ride is the '02 Jeep Cherokee front end swap, which gives the Ranger a very fresh and original look. It has been completely shaved taillights and all. The interior is full tweed and has a smoothed dash. The rolling attire consists of 18-inch KMC Stealths and is suspended by airbags and a custom-built three-link. There are plenty of future mods in mind such as suicide doors, a body drop, 20s, a sheetmetal dash, and right-hand drive. Be on the lookout for more of this Ranger as the mods continue to develop.
Frosted
James Anderson of Nikiski, Alaska, is proud of his Mazda B-series. He sent a few before and afters for your viewing pleasure but doesn't have much to say about his ride, because words just can't explain. What we gather is that the truck started off as a stock hauler and James eventually got the itch to make it something more. There are plenty of future plans in store, he says, and James and his boys in Frosted Creations plan on making them happen.
Potato Peeler
Jeremy Klein of Grangeville, Idaho, loves pimpin' around his '99 Chevy S-10. He started working on his truck two years ago, and since then he has added a Flowmaster exhaust and K&N cold-air intake. The interior has been painted, and a Pioneer head unit has been installed. The system doesn't stop there, as a 760-watt amp pushes two 10-inch MTX subs. His exterior has a shaved tailgate handle, frenched license plate box, and an FBI roll pan. The rims are Iroc 18s wrapped in Toyo rubber, and eventually, Jeremy says, the truck will be 'bagged, with a custom paint job.
Foe by Foe
Jeremy Willis of Campbell, Missouri, is the proud owner of this '95 GMC Jimmy 4x4. It's the first 4x4 that he's ever owned, and it is powered by a V-6 Vortec motor and rolls on 15-inch Ultra Racing rims. The inside is covered in leather, and Jeremy aspires for it to be a clean show truck someday. He would like to airbag it, but he has plenty of work ahead before he bolts on a new set of 20s. Good luck! Traveling down the road of custom 4x4 is very daunting.
