We saw an email, well actually a few of them, coming from the islands of Hawaii—the good ol' 808. Dreaming of white sandy beaches, and cool, clear water, we're kicking up our feet and letting CD finish the rest of the story. Aloha!
"Hey guys, I pulled out the boring stock four-cylinder engine to make room for a 350ci four-bolt main with can and gear drive. It is also fully 'bagged with a four-link setup, and sits on the frame. I never took any shortcuts to get the truck where it's at. Thanks for your time!"

Derek is a member of Freaks of Nature, and his Ranger is fully 'bagged and shaved, has custom paint with ghost flames, and is sitting on billet 18s. The rear suspension features a four-link setup and air is delivered through two Viair 480 compressors. 2008 headlights and turn signals round off the exterior upgrades, and future plans include a stock-floor bodydrop, a sliding ragtop, and a fresh paintjob. Lookin' good, Derek!
1994 Ford Ranger Splash
Derek Matthews • Church Hill, TN
This 'Rado has been lowered 5 inches, and has been given a 3-inch traditional bodydrop on top of that. Chris handled all the work himself. He also scratch build the suicide doors and shaved the tailgate, and completed a few more odds and ends that he feels weren't worth mentioning at the moment, but will be disclosed once the truck is completed. You can't see it from this angle, but there is a full airbrushed mural on the tailgate that Abel Hernandez of Chicago sprayed down.
