Father and Son
Brian Glenn and his dad have taken on Brian's '03 Chevy S-10 extra cab as their own father-and-son project. To get started, they bolted on a set of 20-inch chrome Exotic Edge Concepts wrapped in Toyo Proxy rubber. To upgrade the exterior, they installed a billet grille insert with a billet bow tie, clear corners, euro taillights, and a Checkmate Fx hardtop tonneau cover. In the performance department, the team added a Flowmaster dual exhaust system. Brian and his dad have many more modifications on their to-do list and will be completing the work on Brian's S-10 themselves.
Built at Home
Michael Yakubics has been working on this black beauty since he brought it home. This '01 Ford Ranger stepside has been modified at Michael's house with his own hands. He did everything, from the full Air Ride Technologies 'bag setup to the full Pioneer, JL Audio, and Alpine sound system. Mike updated the outside of the truck with a smoothed and painted front bumper, a billet grille insert, a Gaylord's hard tonneau cover, and tinted windows. The low stance is accented by the addition of 18-inch chrome Polo wheels wrapped with 225/40R18 Kumho tires. The performance has been enhanced through the installation of a polished intake and K&N second-generation filter teamed with a JET Performance module. Michael plans on taking his Ranger all the way by adding 22s all the way around, smoothing the exterior, and adding a full-tribal paintjob.
Since Brad Spencer needed a cheap tow vehicle, he really lucked out when he came across this '79 four-wheel-drive Toyota longbed for only $500. The truck ran great when Brad bought it and hasn't had a problem since. He beefed up his tow pig by adding 31x12.5-inch BFG all-terrains mounted on a set of 15x8-inch black rockcrawling rims. Brad attends every major show he can get to, so he needed some tunes to keep him company. He installed a Jensen CD player with Linear and Pioneer speakers to echo his favorite bands. Brad also says that his '90 Chevy Astro van has seen a lot of changes throughout the years, and he covers it with fresh mods before each show season. Be on the lookout for a new version this year.
