Nick Wells from Lafayette, Virginia, is proud to say that at 18 years old, he's "LAYD DLY," or at least his truck is. He drives his Nissan Hardbody as low as possible everywhere he goes. The cool thing about this truck is that it started as a $400 project, which Nick and his buddies fixed up. They did everything on the Nissan, from the airbag suspension to the bright-yellow paint. They even installed a system and PlayStation 2 and recarpeted the interior. Nick turned 19 in October, so his sister Brittany wanted to wish him happy B-day in her own special way by sending us pictures of her bro's ride. What a cool sis'. Nick, no more noogies.
There are many die-hard mini-truckers in the state of Florida, which has contributed to the huge success of the annual Blooddrag show. George Heller is one of these die-hards, and he mobs his Dime around the streets of Jacksonville, showing off all his hard work. The truck features a full-hydraulic adjustable suspension, a smoothed exterior, and a custom flamed-tweed interior to match the flamed hot-rod primer. George plans on shaving a few more things, then going all-out on a silver-and-green-flamed paintjob. George would like to thank Leebo, Froggie, and Mini Truckin'. Look for a more complete version of his ride at Blooddrag 2005.
'Bout Time for a Feature
Justin Cornett from Dayton, Tennessee, has been working on his '94 Toyota pickup for a few years to take it to the wild stages you see here. He has attacked every single part of his truck to transform it into a feature-worthy ride. The 'Yota is body-dropped hard over a set of 18-inch Dante Vertigo wheels covered in 215/35R18 Nankang N2 rubber. Justin's ride features a full air-ride suspension for smooth adjustability over the big bumps and has received various bolt-on upgrades, including a phantom grille and 4x4 fenders. The exterior is also fully smoothed for that show-winning look. Justin would like to thank all his friends who spent long weekends in the garage, his parents for their support, Michael's Wheels and Tires, and his club IV Everlow. If you see Justin around, tell him to get his truck finished and come to some major shows so he can have a chance at a feature.
