From The Editor's Desk
In our April '09 issue, we ran a "Pimp Your Pad" story showcasing some of the cool things you could do to your living space minitrucker style. The story has received rave reviews with tons of minitruckers sending us pics of their own pimped out pads from across the globe. Some readers have requested more information about some of the shots, including the cool bars that were featured. Mike Cotton from Midwest Images built the bar pictured here using a real S-10 bed. and wheel. He provided some of the cool, tricked-out house content that inspired this story. Check out his myspace page at (myspace.com/midwestpaintandmetal) for more information and hit him up if you want any custom truck or house work out in the Midwest.

We here at Mini Truckin' do our best to make sure that all the information we give you is one hundred percent factual. Most days we also try to ensure that our basis for what is considered "factual" is based in some sort of objective reality, and not just the half-crazed, half-mad delusions that pop into our heads during our staff-mandated peyote "meetings." However, in the process of putting together a new informative article, it's only natural that a few bits of misinformation would slip through the editorial cracks. In order to maintain our spotless reputation as a respectable source of news and the current forward thinking on many of the world's most pressing issues, it is our duty to occasionally rectify any mistakes. Whether we somehow were confused, or misled about the authenticity of our facts, it is imperative that we identify these errors and present you, the reader, with the real information.

In the Browsin' Around section of MT News, we wrote that Drastic WPG were the promoters of Summer Shocker. This was a mistake, we were just giving a shout-out to Drastic WPG because of the cool show coverage posted on their website. Illconformity out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada are the boys and girls who promote the Summer Shocker event. This will be the fifth year hosting the Summer Shocker Car and Truck Show. Once again, profits raised from the show will be donated to the Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation. Last year's show was the most successful yet, resulting in a donation of $4,600 and bringing the total to more than $10,000. Not bad for just eight members. The date for this years show is Saturday, June 20th at Oak Park High School. They are also looking for suggestions on how to improve the show and any ideas you have are welcome. Check them out at SummerShocker.com.
