Minitrucker Skate Night
Most people file roller rinks in their early '80s time capsule with rip-and-tear jeans, the Bee Gees and Xanadu. Nevertheless, blinking colored lights, brightly painted walls and four-wheeled skates still have the crowd doing the hokey-pokey. Disc jockeys still sit in plastic perches, introducing the limbo, couples songs and, of course, the backward skate. Newbies still have trouble stopping gracefully as they leave the floor and the concession guy will still mix a suicide drink for anyone who asks. That was the feeling as we walked into Cal Skate Roller Rink in the city of Grand Terrace to check out the Severed Ties and Forbidden Fantasy Skate Night. Members from several So Cal truck clubs came out to skate the night away to today's hottest music in an attempt to take home an award. No Regrets took home club participation rolling out the most rides while Painter Shak Mike was bestowed the Best Skater Award. The Backwards Skater Award went to Joel "Grommit" Sadenwasser from Xtreme Lowz and The Best Fall Award went to CJ from Severed Ties. Both clubs would like to thank everyone who came out. Be on the lookout for future skate nights and gatherings.

Grand National Minitruck Show?
The Grand National Roadster Show is the first in the series of big rod and custom shows on the West Coast that enthusiasts from all over the world gather, to be a part of the festivities. In addition to being the longest running indoor show, the powers that be, decided for the 60th installment of the event, it would include a modern truck class. Seven members of Relaxed Atmosphere were extended invitations to participate in the event alongside the nation's top hot rods. That's right, minitruck flavor would be a part of one of the biggest rod and custom shows on the planet. To gain this kind recognition in the hot rod scene as builders is a great accomplishment for not only the ones that participated, but also the entire minitruck community as a whole.

Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from history: Spades = David; Clubs = Alexander the Great; Hearts = Charlemagne; Diamonds = Caesar
