Trucks! TV Series Drags for the World to See
The Trucks! TV series is about to start a buildup that has never been done in the eight years the show's been on the air: an import mini-truck that embodies true minitruck style and build techniques. Thanks to some helpful insight from the guys at Little Shop of Horrors in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, the crew picked up a '95 Nissan Hardbody and decided that the factory height was for posers and the truck was deserving of a much needed altitude adjustment.
Plans for the truck include four-link and rear-frame notch, a Toyota rear-axle swap, CanDo Specialties front control arms with Toyota hubs, Belltech spindles, and Raceline 20-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto tires. The project is planned for two shows this season, with the finale being a true night 'railing of the truck. All air-ride equipment was provided by the Low Rider Depot.Catch Trucks! as part of PowerBlock, which airs on SpikeTV every Saturday and Sunday.
Envy Cruise Night Makes a Splash in the I.E.
Going to a cruise night isn't an old memory anymore, since more and more cruise nights are happening in the Southern California area and other parts of the country. A good example of that is Envy Wednesdays at the Stampede in Temecula, California. Not only can you come and chill out with the homies, but you can also have a nice cold drink and see some hotties. Truckers come from the surrounding counties to enjoy the cool, brisk nights in Temecula. Envy Wednesdays are every Wednesday (obviously), but the cruise night portion is on the first Wednesday of each month. For more information on this event, call the info line at (951) 808-3001.
Yeah, yeah, you've probably seen this, but it's an awesome online community for everything minitruck, so check it out again.
