5th Annual State 2 State Cruise & Havasu Spring Break
Entering its fifth year of existence, the State-2-State Cruise is on the move again. This year, the event has been moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Brought to you by Truckin', Sport Truck, and Mini Truckin' magazines, with presenting sponsorship provided by Chevy Trucks, Vortec Engines, and official tire-sponsor Toyo Tires. Please plan on attending this event on Friday, March 18, as well as entering the Havasu Spring Break Nationals on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20. This weekend is also the biggest spring-break weekend during the month of March.

With an average of 300 custom trucks and SUVs, State 2 State Cruise participants will be welcomed at five different aftermarket manufacturers' facilities, with a shop tour, goody-bag items, a chance at a raffle prize, and a poker card for the poker run. The cruise will officially end in Lake Havasu City, with a culmination party hosted by AIM Industries. As if that weren't enough, make your presence known on Saturday by attending the Havasu Spring Break Nationals, located at the London Bridge Resort Golf Course, on the same property as the host hotel, the London Bridge Resort. This show-'n'-shine event promises to pit the best of the best against one another.

There will also be a manufacturers vendor village, with live samplings of products as well as installation displays, a wild bikini contest, and live entertainment on Saturday night at Kikomo's, the host bar for the entire event.

For more information about this year's super-exciting event, contact: Amber Pierce, amber.pierce@primedia.com; www.truckinweb.com.

Fewer Rollovers?
Ford Motor Co. and General Motors are making big increases in the volume of stability-control technology used on SUVs. The moves are significant, as the industry copes with studies that show SUVs have a higher rate of rollover crashes than cars.
