In order to keep mini-truck enthusiasts up to date on the myriad things happening in our sport from month to month on an inside angle, we present Inside Out. This forum is directly aimed at keeping our readers informed about items pertaining to the aftermarket as well as providing a vital link to what's happening at World Mini Truckin' Headquarters. This way, you'll know a little more of what's happening in our sport from an angle seldom seen.
Project Desert Dragger Update
In our last issue, we did the virtually impossible by making the frame of a 4x4-chassis-equipped Nissan Frontier lay like all good trucks should. Soon you'll see us set up the rear suspension using Suspension Dimension's full reversed, triangulated four-link with Firestone airbags from Mac's Springs and high-performance air compressors and air tanks from VIAIR Corporation. Stay tuned because we'll also be going balls-out on the Desert Dragger's too-stock body. Isn't Nissan going to be shocked when it sees what we've done to its baby? Oh, hell yeah!
More Good News - Not
Effective May 20, 2002, Frontier Crew Cab prices increased approximately $200. This price increase does not affect the recently introduced Crew Cab Supercharged Value Edition models. Complete pricing information can be found at www.nissannews.com.

There will also be plenty of exciting photo opportunities during the cruise from the editors of the truck publications such as Truckin', Sport Truck, Mini Truckin', Truckin's SUV, Custom Classic Trucks, and OFF-ROAD. The event will kick off from Dealers Sport Truck & Automotive in Los Alamitos, California, with scheduled stops at Boyd Coddington Wheels in La Habra, California, Gibson Performance Exhaust Systems in Corona, California, as well as American Products Corporation in Riverside, California. We will then have lunch and be on our way to Phoenix, with an end-of-cruise party at AIM Industries in Mesa, Arizona. Also new to this year's event is a Poker Run. Cards will be distributed at each stop along the way, so it is important not to miss any of the scheduled stops along the cruise. There will be a $10 registration fee that includes a T-shirt, three meals, an after party, and goody bags loaded with stuff.
