Now there really is no excuse for not being able to find a copy of the latest Mini Truckin’ issue. Well, unless you don’t have a fancy iPhone or iPod. In that case, you’re still screwed. Just download the Zinio app and search for Mini Truckin’—from there you’ll have the option to purchase a single issue or a year subscription! And flipping through the pages and zooming in to read the stories is actually not bad at all. Download the app now, and put a little bit of awesome in your pocket.
Subject: WTF is wrong with you guys?
I just got the September copy of Mini Truckin’ in the mail today, the S-10 issue, and I noticed something funny on page 54. You have the same blue S-10 photographed 3 times. Each pic is the same angle too, kind of a funny goof but guess those things happen.
Good eye, Andy! We’re actually surprised at the lack of hate mail and fingers pointing out our flaw. Minitruckers worldwide must be softening up a little or something. Whatever the case may be, have we got some good news for you. We purposely (OK, not really) placed the same exact photo three different times on the same page to offer the first person that brought it to our attention a super cool secret prize for their attention to detail! A big round of applause goes out to you! Pat yourself on the back for us, if you don’t mind. For your help with quality control duties, we will be sending you this Battleship Blu-ray/DVD combo pack—an epic-scale adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies, and over land as our planet fights for survival. We’re not sure if it’s any good or not, but it’s all yours! Thanks for reading!
While we’re on the topic of cell phones, we decided to look up which states will allow you to read your Mini Truckin’ digi-copy on your iPhone while driving. According to the Governor’s Highway Safety Association (ghsa.org), 10 states have banned all drivers from using phones while on the road. The odds of getting dinged for reading while driving are pretty low, but texting your friend to tell him/her how awesome the issue is might present a problem. 32 states have outlawed texting for all drivers, while others prohibit texting among younger drivers. Some states don’t even seem to care unless you’re involved in a crash they choose to blame due to “electronic distraction”. What’s the moral of this story? Don’t text or use your phone in front of a cop. Duh!
