Daniel Sandlin'S tattoo is part graffiti, part minitrucker, and 100% cool! Art by Chad Shelton of My Ink Spot in Hillsboro, OH.
Josh Lilly’s ink is a portrait of his feature Toyota from the November 2011 issue.
"It's Friday night and my girl gets home screaming telling me to go outside the house and this is what I saw. A guy coming home from work fell asleep behind the wheel of his car and hit my truck pushing it into a Mustang at over 60 miles an hour. The frame is bent in three different places and the body/floor separated and ripped off of the body mounts. I've had this truck for 4 years now, and it’s like a member of our family. I'd always wanted it to grace the pages of Mini Truckin', but not like this. Guess it's time to pick up the pieces and move on."
Hand-drawn Eye Candy
We've had this hand-drawn piece of artwork by Ty Guthrie lying around the office for a while now. It was rolled up in a poster tube, and was this close to being forgotten about. The attention to detail is superb, and we are dying for someone to bring this Colorado dualie to life. To check out more of Ty's handiwork, find him on Facebook, and while you’re logged in, check out his rendering folder that is filled with a wide variety of tasty eye candy.
I just 'bagged and painted my Dime this summer for my wedding. It's been a labor of love (hate) for my wife and I over the years, but she turned out beautiful. My wife Tara looked pretty good too. Hope you guys can use this photo in the mag, we would love to be in the Lyfestyle section of the mag.
Mr. and Mrs. Streatch,
First of all, congrats on the wedding! Second of all, thank you for sending this cool photo of your wedding party—the dress and ties even match the paint! Here's to many years of happiness for you both. Cheers.
