If the name Palmetto Rod Worx doesn’t ring a bell, take a look back at our last issue. The crew played an instrumental role in building June’s cover truck, “Purple Reign,” a hot-rod flavored ’85 Chevy Blazer that is just as wild and jaw-dropping as it clean and streamlined.
Custom chassis work and sheetmetal fabrication are PRW’s specialties, but their menu of services is quite extensive, as is their clientele list. At any given time, Palmetto’s garage is stuffed with projects ranging from minitrucks, classic fullsize haulers, muscle cars, and the obvious rod or two.
PRW is cranking out some awesome projects, and they are throwing their own brand of bash April 30-May 1 called The Gathering at Anderson Motor Speedway in South Carolina. They will be displaying their own creations as well as opening the show to any and all custom classes, so make sure to make it out if you’re a custom junkie living on the East Coast.
