New Blood
Flyin' solo here at MT headquarters means that our outside, or what's referred to as our "freelance" staff, is more important than ever before. We've taken that process one step further and enlisted a new "Lyfestyle Editor" to take the reins of the Lyfestyle column, as well as Ridin' Around, and other stories as we see fit. Join us in giving Ben Da Pirate a nice friendly Mini Truckin' welcome as you will be seeing him at more shows and he will be pumping some new life and story ideas into this Lyfestyle section. From here on out send your Hardluck, Garage, Tattoo, or any other cool story ideas to

Remember we cant use cell phone or internet pics. We need high resolution jpegs at least 500k and larger to print in the magazine. The better the pics, the better your chances of making it inside this magazine.

Garage Of The Month
This month we have Christian Rath from Bloomington, Illinois, and his garage that really shows us you don't need a lot of space to make it cool. Not everyone has the luxury of huge garage spaces so it's nice to see that even with limited space a minitrucker can still put in work and make things happen! If you have a cool garage and want to show it off, email your pics and info to

Hard Luck Of The Month
If you've ever been in an accident, you probably know how much it sucks! But don't panic, get out, make sure everyone's ok, swap insurance, and always call the police. Wait for them to sort everything out so there is no mistake of the facts. Some people like to wait until you leave then they can try and scam you by filing a hit and run. Well, in Nathan Evers case, he didn't have to wait at all for his local boys in blue to show up. That's right, one of them just happened to be right at the scene. Oh, I forgot to mention that the officer was the one who caused the crash. While driving home from work one Friday night, the 5-0 blew through a stop sign to beat traffic and slammed right into Nathan. Thankfully, everyone was ok. But as you can see, his Nissan Hardbody took one for the team. So to help him get his beloved mini back to its rockin' state, we're hooking him up with a one-year membership to the FBI Brushed Club and a surprise gift from FBI. So if you, or someone you know, has had something bad happen to a minitruck, send your high resolution pictures (sorry, no camera phone pics!) so we can check them out. Send your submissions to, or snail mail to Mini Truckin' c/o Hard Luck of the Month, 2400 E. Katella Ave. Ste. 1100, Anaheim, CA 92806.

Caption Of The Month
In case you didn't catch the last "Caption of the Month", the rules are simple. We find a funny pic and run it here, and you guys have 30 days to email the funniest and best captions you can come up with for this photo. After we receive all the entries we will run the best ones and send a gift out from our goody drawer to the winners. This month we caught Lowlife Mike in action, so email us your best captions and remember to keep them PG-13 or they won't be printed.
