Hard Luck Of The Month
Leon Stollings of Palm Coast, Florida learned the importance of checking his work-the hard way. He installed new 'bags and air lines in the front of his Dakota. When he was done, he jumped into his truck to roll it out of the garage and wash it. Well, he soon found out that he forgot to check one thing: his brakes. Leon must have removed the brake lines from the calipers when changing out the 'bags and forgot to bleed them upon reinstallation. So, when he was backing out and found that he had no brakes, it was too late to do anything-except hit a dirt hillside in order to stop before rolling into traffic. And for that, we are sure that Leon will never forget to bleed his brakes again.
To ease his pain and suffering, we are going to hook him up with a one-year membership to the FBI Brushed Club and also a mystery gift from FBI.
If you, or someone you know, has had something terrible happen to a minitruck, and you have high-resolution pictures (no camera-phone pics, please) we would like to see them. Send your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org, or to Hard Luck of the Month c/o Mini Truckin', 2400 E. Katella Ave. Ste. 700, Anaheim, CA 92806.
Kustomz Ink Klothing is our sponsor of the infamous MT Ink section. We figured it made a good pair! Be sure to check out kustomzink.com for the latest on custom gear.
We should really start a tattoo magazine, we keep getting pictures of badass minitruckin' lifestyle artwork. Minitruckers are creative and we know it. These days, they don't just show it on their trucks, they show it on their bodies, as well. Keep sending in the pics to email@example.com.

MT Junior Of The Month
Kodi, who is 4 years old, and Landon, who is 10 months old, are Bradford brothers of Corpus Christi, Texas. These are some seriously spoiled kids! Their father, Gordon, built this '97 S-10 truck bed about 2 years ago for Kodi to sleep in, but Kodi has had no problem letting his little brother crash in it from time to time.
It has 20-inch Enkei rims with low-profile Nitto 555 tires, a custom-built headboard to look like a cab, working blue neons, brake lights, and a stereo system. His room has aluminum spoilers for shelves, and toolboxes are used for nightstands. Future plans are to mount working LCDs into the sides, by the speakers, for a TV or gaming pleasure.
