Today is the first day of the rest of my life. You see, today is the last time I get to write my own column as the Associate Editor of Mini Truckin'. The time has come to move on to other things. I didn't say bigger or better things, because as a hardcore minitrucker, nothing is better than working for the magazine that I have adored for so many years.

First of all, let me say I'm leaving on great terms with the magazine, especially Mike Alexander, who is my boss and one of my best friends throughout the last few years. I'm leaving because I have decided to venture into business ownership, which is a pretty big deal-not just for me, but for my family, as well. As much as I would love to say I'm opening my own shop or something cool like that, unfortunately I am not.

I'm doing something much more boring associated with real estate. It's nothing fun, so I won't bore you with the details. The second thing I want to let everybody know is that you will absolutely still see me at shows nationwide and worldwide. I am still the same hardcore minitrucker that I was when I started, so I don't plan on disappearing from the face of the Earth. You can still expect to see my name in the pages of the mag from time to time, in this column and in photo shoots. Before I started working here, I was doing a lot of freelance work and traveling, and I plan to continue with that as much as possible.

Finally, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to come up and say "hi" at a show, or taken the time to write an e-mail, or mail me a letter. Remember, this isn't goodbye. I'ts simply, I'll see you later.
