It's that time of the year again, time to gear up for another show season. By the time the ink hits this page, the 2008 Show Season will be in full swing. After being locked in the office for the last two years working on magazine improvements -among other things-I'm itching for some fresh shows. I'll be hitting a few big and small new shows across the country that I've never visited before. So, if you see me cruising around, or if I looklost, come by and say what's up.
I'm looking forward to getting some fresh air again, as well as meeting some new peeps across the country and around the world. There's tons of new builds coming our way, and I'm excited to get behind a camera to shoot them. Also, there's lot's of fresh new innovative ideas out there that we'll bring you firsthand.
It's going to be a great year, I can feel it! Get out in the garage and start prepping your trucks for the final stages. Dust off those welders, fire up the torches, and get to cutting. Show us what you got, as fresh talent is only a show away. This year, we'll be showcasing many more real-world rides that are garage built on a budget, but still exude style and quality work. Yes, they're out there and we're looking for them!
If you think your ride has what it takes, please send us some good quality pictures and information about the truck and location, so we can plan some upcoming shoots for the '08-'09 show season. Send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and don't forget to include your hometown and possible shows you can attend.
We'll be hitting shows this year to find the new quality feature trucks out there. That doesn't mean they all have to be body-dropped or even 'bagged. If it's clean, built well, and complete (interior, motor, chassis work, etc.), then it could be making its debut in these very pages.
So, for real, get to work! We'll see you out there with cameras in hand. Until the next show. -L88888888888
