Mark Cassidy was quick to tell us that he is not fully responsible for the outcome of this truck. Even though he finished it off to meet his personal taste, a bulk of the build had already been well taken care of. "I've always enjoyed having something different from the norm, and I can't leave any vehicle alone. When I got the Toyota in exchange for a trade for a bodydropped '90 Mazda project, I quickly finished where it was left off," says Mark.

And by "quickly" Mark means three months. Between January and March of 2012, the interior was wrapped up, the stereo system was wired, and a brand-new set of wheels and tires were mated and mounted. "A previous build of mine shared shop space at Metal Worx with this Toyota while the suspension was being built, so I knew the quality was solid. I'm proud of the finishing details I made on the truck, but I want to give credit to those who put time into the truck before it reached my hands."

With only a seemingly painless homestretch left for Mark, he took full advantage of the solid foundation his pickup was built upon. "The truck is super dependable, as I often drive it to work, and I plan on continuing to keep it on the road for a long time to come."
