What do Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, and Jason Friedman's Relaxed Taco have in common? A lot of people have heard of them, but nobody's really seen them. Well, here is the documented truth that Farmer, as he's called by his friends, really does have a body- dragging mini. This is a truck that has taken a very, very long time to build; but Farmer took his time and learned a lot of lessons throughout the build.
Lesson number one was easy: it sucks waiting to build a mini, and it was the worst part of the whole build. Waiting on 'bags, a body-drop, paint, all of that sucks. Lesson number two for Farmer was to have all of your ducks in a row, first. He told us that he wishes, up front, that he had known the order he would do things, and that he had paid more attention to that in the beginning. I suppose, these are lessons we've all learned or can learn from. But, if you ask Farmer if it was worth it, he is quick to tell you it was. The last lesson is the best: the result is worth the wait. Granted, it cost an arm and a leg, but now he can cruise the street in style and showcase his handy glass blowing skills in a moving advertising piece.
The main purpose for this build was to be a father and son project. Luckily for Farmer, he has supportive parents who were willing to help him out and lend some advice when it came to the build. Being family oriented, Farmer told us he had a blast building this truck because it was a bonding experience with his pops. His dad even came to the photo shoot where he gave us a great story about our location we picked for the shoot. I guess being a private investigator in Arizona will teach you a thing or two about where to hang out or not. If you want to know the story, you're going to have to hit up Farmer, his dad, or me in person. Let's just say, I'm not typing that here. It's not that kind of publication. Ha ha.
