When a minitrucker buys a truck with intentions of building a top-to-bottom show-winner, normally there is a game plan of sorts.

"The first thing I did was lower the truck with 4-inch blocks and cranked down torsion bars. Next came some new wheels. Then I installed a fiberglass camper shell and cut a walk-through to make room for a huge stereo. Next I wanted a lower look so I installed a set of Stillen ground effects and had the truck painted a grape purple and still wasn't happy with it. I sent the truck back to the body shop several different times having door handles shaved, smoothing in the ground effects, and so on. After changing the paint and interior twice, I still wasn't happy. I had the truck media blasted and repainted with a custom chameleon and chameleon flame paintjob and tweed interior. By this time, body-dropped trucks were the way to go so I removed the ground effects, torsion bars, and leaf springs. I installed Belltech drop spindles and 'bag brackets from West Coast Customs with 2,500-pound Firestone 'bags up front, and an 8-inch C-notch and custom bridge in the rear. Next, we installed a custom five-link made from solid 1-inch hexagon stock and 2,600-pound Firestone 'bags in the rear. Now that the frame was laying flat, I cut the cab and bed for a 2 3/4-inch traditional bodydrop. Next the truck was sent back to the body shop to be repainted with chameleon and flames again. While in the paint shop I decided to have the taillights, tailgate, and roll pan shaved and molded into the rear. I showed the truck for a couple years, redoing the interior one more time, this time with black and grey suede and a custom rolled dash with Dolphin gauges, a fiberglass center console, and a few other custom fiberglass parts. Finally, I was happy with the interior. But I decided it was time to change up the paint one more time, so that's what you see here."

Wow, that's a lot of changes through the years, but the final outcome was well worth the wait. Check out the Lowdown for more info on all of the current mods, but hurry-we have a feeling it will probably change soon!
