For this year's Construction Zone Special, we decided to pay homage to some of the coolest garage-built rides around by giving them more than just a single page of glory! Suspension/Chassis: SFBD clipped from the firewall using 2x3-inch and 100-percent TIG welded-130 hours of TIG welding, SSD triangulated four-link with Astro Van rear cups, CanDo Specialty upper and lower control arms with CanDo front 'bag brackets, Belltech spindles, and used four-link ends for body mounts, so the body is adjustable, a 20-gallon Summit fuel cell, Viair 380 compressor with two 5-gallon chrome air tanks, Blitzluft valves, Slam R6 'bags in the front and Slam R7s in the rear, Toyota front hubs and Toyota rear axle, and every bushing, brake, spring, and wheel cylinder are all new
Body Modifications: Shaved third brake light, door handles, and locks; Grant Kustoms rear skin combo, Caddy lights, 4x4 fenders, a full sheetmetal bed with tubs, and 100-percent new firewall with tubs
Interior: Cavalier buckets, smoothed dash, repainted to a factory gray for now, Hurst shifter, and two Rockford Fosgate 10s in a box between the seats
Miscellaneous: Engine and transmission 355 with a Holly carburetor, Weyland intake, and Edelbrock air cleaner, chrome valve covers, and timing chain cover, Pete Jackson gear drive, Erson 292 cam with 520 lift, and an HEI distributor
