Curtis Danny Cox has been into trucks from the day that he laid his eyes on his Uncle Smilie's Mazdawg.
With this being Curtis' first mini truck build, and not having any experience doing so, he relied heavily on the super-clean trucks he saw at shows and in magazines. The first order of business for Curtis was getting his truck to lay frame and body. He knew that if his truck was to get any kind of respect on the street, it needed to be low and adjustable. In addition, Curtis went to work on getting rid of any unwanted appendages that would take away from the clean and simple lines of the Mazda. When the tedious task of filling, sanding, and prepping the entire body was complete, a generous amount of red paint was sprayed over the smooth exterior of Curtis' ride.
With the Mazda sporting a super-slammed stance, crazy body mods, and a cool paintjob, Curtis attended to the rest of the details by finishing off the interior and cleaning up the engine bay. He got down with the spray gun and a grip of red paint to cover the smoothed out dash, the center console, and the sub enclosure in the bed. He even went that extra mile to shave the glove box and the A/C vents.
After seven renditions and seven long years of working on his truck, Curtis never gave up. Now his dream is a reality, and he can drag the streets and break necks with his super-modified mini.
