Sometimes we get the honor of shooting the truck of somebody we know. In this case, I got to shoot Brian's truck. I've had the pleasure of hanging out with him over the years at several shows. I fell in love with Brian's truck back when it was a single silver color. As we were both really into old-skool trucks, we had a lot to talk about. The truck was different and Brian was very proud of that. We had discussed Mazdas and old skool trucks a lot over the years. Brian knew he had a special truck in his hands, all he dreamed about was making it better. So little by little, over the years, he worked hard on it with the help of his friends.

"The hardest part for a build like this is trying to find parts!" exclaimed Brian. I know for a fact, when Brian found a replacement dash for his truck, he was really excited to smooth it out and get it in the truck. Finding a dash like that was a very rare moment. After all, a person can't just walk into an Auto Zone and buy one.

Brian's truck is very different and definitely stands out in a crowd. However, if Brian had to do it all over again, he would have turbocharged the motor and built a new frame. After five years of work and two different looks, the truck has definitely come a long way. Brian wanted to thank a bunch of folks, including his girlfriend and all of his buddies in Negative Camber.
