Minitrucks have always looked like side-show attractions from your local Big Top circus to most people. The difference in Neil's truck is that if you put it in a tent at a local show, it kind of looks like the 8th wonder of the world to minitruckers. I mean, it's a standard cab Mazda, so what's so different about that? Well, you don't see too many of these newer, body-style Mazda's around, much less body-dropped and fully painted. This isn't your normal, run of the mill Mazda. Unlike their Ford Ranger step-sisters, they haven't been that popular to most minitruckers. One good look at this truck and you just might be asking yourself, why is that?
That, however, wasn't going to deter Neil from pounding-out this amazing B-series mini to take on the southern show circuit. Neil is all about cruising and hanging out with his buddies in his club, Negative Camber. After three years of working on the truck, the best thing now was to hit the road. This was all thanks to his buddies over at Kunfuzed Customz, where the truck went from stock to radical.
The rundown for this truck started by smoothing out the entire truck, everything that could be shaved was shaved. The fact that Neil is a bodyman by trade definitely helped in this situation. This would add a smoother look to the gnarly graphics laid out by Dennis Virga. Using House of Kolor products, they were able to make the truck stand out in the crowd. The same type of treatment was done on the inside by the crew over at Kunfuzed, to make it smooth and clean. So, now you've got a clean body and interior, the only thing needed was an altitude adjustment. A cut here, a cut there, and before you knew it, the truck was on the ground. This goes to show you that a body-drop can do wonders for the eyes. So, the next time you hear about the "seven wonders of the world," tell people you have seen the 8th wonder, and it drags body.
