Just a couple of years ago, Brad Krasucky was working on a Mazda truck for one of his customers at the auto-body shop he works for. Brad had been involved with custom trucks at that time for the better part of a full decade, and there was just something about that Mazda that caught his attention. Somehow, he wound up buying that very truck from the previous owner and began making changes to it. Over the course of the following two years, he turned the otherwise clean truck into something that people now stop and stare at when he drives by. From the moment the title changed hands, Brad wanted to make sure that the truck stayed firmly planted on solid ground as a daily-driven truck.
In the past, Brad owned a first-generation S-10 that had been given several custom touches to make it all his own, but it'd been some time since he'd had a truck to play around with and customize. During his hiatus, the poor guy drove around in a Mitsubishi Eclipse, heading to the body shop and home in Louise, Texas, each day. We think the drudgery of driving a compact car finally got to him and Brad made the conscious decision to buy the Mazda from his client to make it even more custom and one-of-a-kind.
Aside from a flawless body and super-clean paint scheme, the Mazda also sports a well-thought-out interior that was neither under nor over done. The interior is a clean and custom space with a stereo system and all the custom comforts one could wish for, all stuffed neatly into a standard-cab mini-truck.
After going through the whole truck and changing everything about it that he wanted to reflect his own tastes, Brad began to take it to shows and make both his truck and presence known. In fact, that's exactly how we ran into Brad this past year at the Texas Heat Wave. One look at his clean Mazda and we knew we needed to get it shot for others to enjoy.
