Custom 2002 Ford Ranger - FORD

Trucks don't have to be insane and off the wall to get our attention-as shown by this perfect example of a clean mini. It was built for a purpose and achieved it. Brent built his '02 Ford Ranger with two goals in mind: First, to get into the pages of Mini Truckin' magazine-and he has accomplished just that. Second, he hoped to build a killer Ford Ranger-and you can check that one off the list, too. It was a 3-year project, which included a break-in at an apartment complex and several other bumps in the road. But in the end, the result was achieved flawlessly.

Brent has had a few minis in the past, including a Blazer and a '93 Ford Ranger. Having learned a few things about minitrucks with those two projects, Brent eventually decided to tackle a real head-turner. He purchased his new Ranger back in 2001, with big plans in mind. The first thing was to turn to the right people for help with his Ranger. So, he turned to the crew at Chaotic Rods and Customs and Innovative Designs. Along with their help, the truck ended up with a few mods, killer paint, and a trick 'bag setup. The first thing people might notice is the killer paint, which was done in a great combination of House of Kolor paints.

Brent says his truck is done for now. But, if he could do anything different, he would have body-dropped it and put bigger wheels on it. To us, this is still a killer mini-even if it isn't insanely modded. Sometimes simple is better and this is one of those cases.
