If we only had more teachers like Rick "Teach" Piomack of Eastpointe, MI. The ways of the mini-trucker could be taught to kids from a young age and Power Wheels would be dragging like mad. Rick's example of choice is his body-dropped '94 Ford Ranger Splash.
Growing up in the Michigan automotive scene, as well as his car seat being situated in the back of his dad's '57 Pontiac Chieftain, gave him an early love for customs. Being in college with his Ranger and not rolling in the dough, the simplest of simple would have to do: static drop, baby. That is, until he graduated.
After graduation and being the newest teacher in the Detroit area, the money situation was finally falling into place. Rick found himself at the Pontiac dealership looking to buy a brand new GTT Grand Prix. With the Ranger keys in hand, ready to pass on, Rick started getting second thoughts. While the salesman went inside to print out those ever-so-important pages ending in x's with dotted lines, Rick came to his senses and took off with no warning.
Now back in his reliable and trusty Ranger, a lower stance was in order. Wanting to go extreme, Rick had his buddy and mini-truckin' mentor Mark Qualls get down on some serious rocker rearranging. Being around hot rods all of his life, but never able to afford one, Rick knew the style his mini would have to be: old school! Mighway does that to a T and then some.
