This Dodge Dakota isn't the only victim that caught a case of chronic customitis (our own self-proclaimed semi-medical term), since its owner, Aaron Buck, became quite bogged down by its incapacitating symptoms as well.

The bug didn't bite right away, however, since Aaron had nothing more than mediocre plans for his new ride, but all hope was lost once the toxin took effect.

The truck was purchased for a measly two large on eBay, but as anyone would expect, it was nowhere close to being pretty. If pressed, Aaron would probably rate the truck's condition as a solid 4 on a scale of 10, but he wasn't looking for anything more than that, especially when taking the amount of his winning bid into consideration. His plans were to construct a basic air suspension system and conduct minimal bodywork so he could apply an even coat of paint to advertise his business. Once he accomplished both feats, he began hitting the show circuit trying to drum up some business, but he constantly caught himself envying trucks that were lower, sported bigger wheels, and wore flashier, louder paint. Needless to say, Aaron was sent into a foaming frenzy and he once again ripped into his truck with little to no regard about his initial intentions.

Presently, Aaron's Dakota is laying rocker on 22s, which is impressive on a Dodge Dakota considering all of the extra work that it takes. And also keep in mind Aaron wasn't planning on going that extreme in the beginning. He especially went crazy on the wild paintjob, as that's his profession, and there was no turning back. We all know the routine though; once the fever settles, there really isn't much to do except allow it to take its natural course. In Aaron's case, we think he actually served as a catalyst since we detected very little resistance on his part to the infiltrating illness.
