Every Now And Then A Truck Comes Along That Is Sort Of Like Your Favorite Novel, Tv, Or Comic Book Series; No Matter What, You Follow It Every Step Of The Way.
Every show season presents a new modification to the truck that makes you crave for more! Just like your favorite TV show, you literally chomp at the bit waiting for a new episode to find out what happens next.
The same thing goes for Jamey Tiffany's '88 Dodge D-50. We have seen it around the shows for years and years, always impatiently waiting to see what cool new mod would be next! After some years, it was near completion and a nice fresh coat of solid primer was laid down so we were happy to shoot it for a Construction Zone feature. But for a truck of this caliber, that certainly wasn't enough to satisfy our minitruck cravings. We needed more, much more! So we sat back and anxiously awaited as Jamie, and his close-knit crew from Driveway Werx, continued to tweak and build one of the most anticipated cover trucks to date.
It would take pages to describe all the cool modifications done to this truck, from the gas door flushed into the pillar, to the custom Mitsubishi Starion turboed engine, to the subtle and amazing two tone paintjob with killer brushed titanium graphic accents. This truck is truly one of the best all-time "non shop-built" trucks to ever grace the cover, and we're not afraid to say it! Jamey and his friends truly "live for this" as both his license plate and the name of this 13-year build shows. After 13 long years, when Jamie was asked what was the best part of the build, he simply replied, "Finally being able to walk into my garage and see it painted." With such talent and vision, Jamey and the Driveway Werx crew are still as humble as they come, and remain hardcore and dedicated minitruckers, building some of the cleanest rides in the country. Body Dropped: four inches with cut rockers
Front End: Trenz billet grilles, '95 Mitsu shaved bumper
Taillights: CanDo buckets with HiTech lenses
Misc.: Raider roof rack, custom engine surround, skirted the rear bed two inches, shaved top bed body line, Hot Match fuel door in cab pillar

Put together a system using all the West Coast Customs equipment won at the Relaxed All Star show in '05! Two 12-inch subs behind the seats, 1400-watt amp, mids and highs in the kick panels, and a Pioneer head unit
