Tennessee is a state full of minitrucks, and it's home to the Relaxed Atmosphere show and some of the biggest clubs in the scene. It's no wonder that some awesome trucks have come out of Tennessee in the last few years. Drew Daugherty happens to be an 18-year-old minitrucker from this Southern state. When he finally had enough funds to get a mini, Drew decided that instead of building something during the next few years, he wanted instant satisfaction. What he did was purchase a previous feature truck that was in need of an overhaul.

He purchased this '98 Dodge Dakota, which some of you might remember when it was gold. Drew already knew the truck had been primarily built by the crew at Silver Star Customs, which has a good name in the scene and has built trucks, such as the Blazerado. So, he knew he was getting a good toy to play with. When Drew picked up the truck, it had seen better days, since the previous owner was hardcore and let the mini see some real miles on the road. But overall, it was still a good deal.

Once Drew started putting the truck together, he picked some PPG Pearl White and PPG True Blue Kandy to lay over the beaten boy. He had Trent Beasky and Dave Durand smooth out the body once again, then lay into it. When we first saw the truck, the blue candy was a definite plus on the body. Especially when the sun hit it, it looked flawless.

The next step for the truck was to get the interior all tidy again. Some vinyl and ostrich tied it all together. Even though, at first glance, most of you might recognize the truck, Drew has definitely made it his own.
