Aaron Cain has been into minitrucks going on 15 years now, and since then it's been nothing but the low life for him. He tells us, "I had an '87 Toyota back in the day, and I picked up a copy of Mini Truckin' at a 7-11 one day since there was a similar truck on the cover. That was it. I was hooked."

Now, Aaron didn’t fill us in on the details of his first mini, but his latest truck—the sinister looking S-10 before you—has been a 10-year evolution from stock to rolling terror. The color on his truck isn’t primer, its SEM Hot Rod Black. Don’t be mistaken, this is the finished product—a dark and dangerous Dime with enough style points to pull attention at shows while still keeping a stealth street demeanor. Aaron didn’t put himself in a position to be rushed with the build since he subscribes to the method of doing things right the first time, every time.

No modification trumps the other on Aaron’s truck. The flat color, the classic five-spoke 20s, the stock-floor bodydrop, the dashes of pinstriping, and an interior that could pass for stock, if stock came with black leather seats and matching door panel trim and a BAD billet half-wrap steering wheel—everything blends perfectly. Even though it’s right where he has wanted it, there’s always room for more modifications. That’s what he’s loved so much about this hobby throughout the years he’s been involved.
