Clay Bourdier was a 16-year-old kid back in December of 1995. Like most teenagers, he dreamed of cruising the streets in his own ride. Well, thanks to his grandma, he was soon cruising his brand-new '89 Chevy Blazer. Well, it was brand-new to him. Regardless of the year, Clay had something to cruise and mess with, and only time would tell what he could do with this blank canvas.
As soon as he got his hands on it, Clay went to town on the truck, and did what he could, when he could. Clay started working at a body shop straight out of high school-which explains why this Blazer has seen so many paint schemes. As a matter of fact, this Blazer has been painted four times. And Clay also said his project is never complete. So, we may never know if he will want to paint it again or not. One thing is for sure, though, the House of Kolor Lime Time Pearl is definitely a hit on his current paintjob. Clay is very particular about his paintjobs. He ensured us that when he painted this truck, it was completely stripped and taken apart. "There's no tape lines anywhere!" he exclaimed.
If he could do it all over again, Clay said he would have wanted to suicide the driver's door, smooth the firewall, and build a custom front end. Based on his previous track record, we don't know whether he'll cut it up again or not; but if he decides not, at least he has something in his hands to be proud of.
