Imagine being a 15-year-old kid, when your pops gives you the keys to his Chevy S-10. You would probably be ecstatic at first but then realize along with the truck comes chores and responsibility. Eventually you would get over those things, realize life isn't always fair, and move on to the bigger picture: the fresh canvas S-10.
This is the story of Andrew Lee Dunn, from Tennessee. At a very young age, Andrew acquired this truck, which was a great start. Besides, who doesn't like a zero-out-of-pocket start?
Andrew had the truck and the vision. He then had to decide what to do with his Dime. Andrew started by adding wheels to his square-body truck. Next, he added an Air Ride suspension. For this, Andrew took his truck to the creative hands at Fatboy Customs, where the staff tore it down and went crazy with it. They cut everything out of the way and firmly planted the Dime on the ground to lay frame. Air Ride Technologies upper arms and Belltech spindles were used for a smooth transition to the floor.
Once this was all said and done, the guys at Killer Kolor in Maryville, Tennessee, attended to the body, which had already been shaved and cleaned up by the guys at Fat Boy Customs. PPG colors and DuPont paints were used to bring the two-tone color scheme alive. At this point, Andrew realized the truck wouldn't be complete without a body-drop before the interior went in. So, this was completed, too. After all, everybody knows square-body Dimes just look proper on the ground.
