Mini-truckers know the flashing lights of red and blue all too well. We get hassled for everything - from our taillights, the ability to sweep pavement, and even our creative differences from the norm. Nathan Wimmer of Princeton, West Virginia, and his S-10 have a little bit different story. Nathan was actually almost arrested while doing the rolling shots for this photo shoot!
Nathan Wimmer's previous customs have included a '69 VW bug as well as an '86 Chevy S-10. These vehicles primed him for what would be his craziest project to date: In-Yo-Face. However, these previous builds aren't the only things that have helped him get to this point. The fact that he's been involved in this scene for 12 years could only benefit his situation that much more.
To set Nathan's S-series to new heights and to differentiate it from the rest of the swarm of S-10s, an insane paint job was laid down. It's adorned with everything from diamond-plate, sheetmetal-plate, flames, and wild random swooping lines to give looks of confusion to onlookers. Each graphic has been given its own personality with the touch of the airbrush and wild pinstriping. The interior of the truck keeps with the bright theme. Yards of purple tweed and beige vinyl were applied.
We're sure to see more from Nathan, as it seems that custom vehicles are in his blood. As an active member of Xtreme Lowz you know that his buddies will always get him to push the envelope further every time. Nathan knows this. The only question is, what does he plan on doing about it?
