Sometimes seeing people bust out with completed ride after completed ride, one would think that it's a piece of cake to make a respectable show truck. In reality there are many battles that have to be fought in order to get your truck to a finished state. For example, Eric Sensat of Lynnville, Tennessee, and his '96 GMC Sonoma ran into a slew of problems that could have probably ruined the chances of his mini ever being finished. After a guy that shall remain nameless came up short on wanting to finish Eric's ride, he would have to find a new way to make the impossible happen. Enter the Little Shop of Horrors.
As people in the South have been noticing the last couple years, Little Shop knows how to get business handled and how to pull out some amazing mini's. To Eric's delight, Little Shop would do just that and make him happy for even starting another project. The goal was to get his truck done for Relaxed's All Star Event in Millington, Tennesee. The truck was dropped off at Little Shop and as the mods kept piling up, so would the loss of time. With weeks counting down, and then days, it was absolute chaos at Little Shop.
With one week left, it was "no sleep" time for Eric and the Little Shop crew. Eric even had to resort to calling four of his buddies to pull double-duty on the Sonoma. With the final preparations being made and the final coats of paint being applied, the unthinkable would happen: no more paint. An hour away to the paint shop Eric would fly, but in record time and with no speeding tickets Eric would come back with the magical hue. With the truck done in record time, on the trailer and away to Millington, Tennessee, for the All Star Event they went. As if stress wasn't the hot topic, the tow vehicle would end up blowing a tire. So unhook the trailer they did; left the freshly finished truck and trailer, and away to fix the tire they were. There's nothing like seeing a freshly completed mini abandoned on a trailer for the picking. Eric's already working on another mini and he says you'll see it at the next All Star Event. Keep your eye out for this young mini-trucker's next creation.
