Massachusetts isn't exactly what you would call the mecca of mini-truckin'. Heck, it's not even one of the random hardcore mini-truckin' communities. That's why situations such as these make us happier than anything. Nathan Davidson of Shrewsburry, MA, and his heavily detailed '92 Chevy S-10 came out of nowhere. There are no mini-trucks in his immediate area, no old-school mini-truckers to guide him in the right, and no local mini-truck cruises to help fuel his fire.
This all being the case, how did Nate grow into the builder that he is now? Let's see...Nate ended up going to the Magnetic Mini show some five years ago and caught a glimpse of an old-school S-10 that was just hammered to the ground. This vision stuck in Nate's head and would end up being the ultimate goal in his future. There is nothing like this where Nate lives, so he loved the idea of being different. Nate works at Bolyston Body Shop in Bolyston, MA, so working on autos wasn't foreign to him.
After the initial build was over, Nate was driving his prized mini down the road. Due to either the strong winds or utter power of the mildly modified GM thunder, the hood would proceed to swing back and rip the wiper cowl, which had been molded to the fenders. Nate took this as a sign from God and put his dime back in the shop. This build would be the epitome of custom and everything that Nate had dreamed of. A one-off interior by Mark Shea of Sound Sensation in Auburn, MA, and a completely detailed undercarriage make this ride a showstopper.
