When Ryan Cavanaugh first ran into his soon-to-be club, the members were all draggin' body and keeping their heads from becoming too big by focusing on their accomplishments as a group. However, Ryan was anything but the type that the club would consider for membership. He was rolling his S-10 with a spoiler wing and a set of plastic ground effects (we refer to this as vinyl siding that belongs on your house - not your ride). Before long, though, the pervasive idea that one must be lower than low to roll hard sunk into Ryan's psyche and he soon found himself tearing into his truck.
Ryan's newfound interest in his truck was overwhelming. He found that his ride, which he'd thought was nice enough before he hooked up with Low Rollers, was suddenly far from adequate. Ryan began reducing it to the basic parts. He readied the cab and bed for a body drop, making his truck every bit as low as the Low Rollers hitting the streets of Delaware. Once he'd finished the nearly 4-inch drop in body height, he moved on to the next phase of his truck's rapid development: to give his ride a personality all its own.
While Ryan busied himself with the interior makeover, the truck was given to Emenheiser's Auto Body in York, Pennsylvania. At Emenheiser's, the body underwent a full shave and additional work in preparation for paint. Once the body was straighter than when it came off the assembly line, the crew sprayed the truck anew with blue and silver base colors. Orange flames pinstriped in green were then laid on top and shadow-airbrushed to create a very clean separating stripe.As soon as the truck was released from the shop, Ryan went to work with all the new, freshly wrapped tweed interior parts for the truck. He carefully installed the basics as well as plenty of custom stereo components to make his ride sound just as good as it looked. The results speak for themselves.
Since finishing this round of work, Ryan has been fully welcomed into the Low Rollers fold. Now that his truck is every bit as clean and ground-kissing as the other Low Roller rides, rumor has it that the group is out to find and convert a few more unbelievers. The way things have been going, we expect to see a massive wave of ground-pounding customs sweep the nation with LR logos in no time, with each tossin' mad sparks on the freeways of America.
