Truck of the Year 2003:
Jan John Jr.
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Sep. '03 issue
This Toyota screams originality, especially the rearend setup and air system. Jan's dedication is shown in the fact that he's not afraid to drive it. That's the best thing to see.
Club of the Year 2003:
Xtreme Lowz, Georgia - I've had the pleasure of meeting a number of these guys over the year, and they've really impressed me with their dedication to the lifestyle and how down-to-earth they are. It's more of a brotherhood than a club.
Show of the Year 2003:
Scrapin' the Coast - Gulfport, Mississippi. This show brought out some great quality rides despite the fact that rough weather hampered most of the weekend. This show seems to have great potential to grow into a major event.

Truck of the Year 2003:
Charles Armstrong
Prescott, Arizona
Jan. '03 issue
This year's pick for me would have to be Charles Armstrong's Toyota. I chose this truck because it's just sick, and the amount of detail and creativity that went into it is amazing. He has a lot of different ideas that I haven't seen before. I've had the opportunity to view his truck first-hand and it's just unreal. Detailed graphics can be found on the frame and under the bed, where few ever look. That's just the type of person Charles is and shows the pride he took when building this ride. As for the name, Time Machine, it's fitting and was probably named for all the time you'll spend looking at the truck.
Club of the Year 2003:
Cali Style, Maryland - It's hard to find the club to choose and this question gets me every year. I picked Cali Style because they're a great bunch of guys and have nice rides. They seem to stick together more like a family than a club, and I think that's the way it should be. Keep a lookout for 2004; they have some nice rides that will debut on the East Coast.
Show of the Year 2003:
ShowFest - Greenville, Mississippi. This was my first year attending Showfest and it is insane. People had been telling me that I needed to hit the show, and I finally made it out. First, this show probably has some of the baddest rides I've ever seen. People always told me the quality of the show was amazing, not to mention that it's in a central spot and people come from coast to coast to be there. I met some of the coolest people at this show and saw the craziest things. People don't come to Greenville just for the show. The cruise strip was just plain nuts, from people draggin' the strip all night to mini-choppers and other homemade goodies riding down the main road. This is not the show to miss. Mark you calendars for it - you won't regret it.

Truck of the Year 2003:
Rodney "Fuzzy" Owens
Charlotte, North Carolina
Jan. '03 issue
It's really clean and smooth. He's not afraid to drag the crap out of it.
Club of the Year 2003:
Pebble Pushers, North Carolina - I like this club because the members are all down to earth and don't act as though they're better than anyone else. They travel everywhere their paychecks allow to represent their passion. Also, I like that they're a small club doing big things. Oh yeah, and they throw a great show.
Show of the Year 2003:
Slam Jam - Salem, Ohio. The most exciting show this year was Slam Jam because I saw Lenny Gruver's latest creation, but Greenville, Mississippi, was the most fun because I got to hang out with a lot of my friends.
