Another September brought yet another edition of WCN. As usual, the temperature was in the triple digits, the crowd came out to party, and the minitrucks on display were nothing less than awesome. There were familiar faces in the field, and there were quite a few debuts and under-construction builds that had us standing in the sun a lot longer than expected.
This weekend-long river run has been held in high regard among West Coast minitruckers for years. With three days to soak up the sun and enjoy the cool water of the mighty Colorado, there really is very little room to improve on this show. Trucks and spectators flocked to Parker, Arizona, from nearly every direction—even as far as the Hawaiian Islands—just to see first-hand how the West Coast rocks.
