The memory of a person lives on long after they have left our world. James “Chubbs” McKittrick was well known throughout the minitruckin’ community. To those in Las Vegas, he was a dedicated member of Freaks of Nature, a brother, father, friend, and one of the best guys anyone has ever met. Chubbs always had a smile on his face and was willing to help anyone at any time, regardless of club affiliation. He truly was the kind of guy who everyone could count on, trust, and love.

In Chubbs’ honor, Simply Choice teamed up with Jon at Ultimate Electronics and put together a benefit car show. The show brought in 180 vehicles that came out to “give some Chubb” from all over the Southwest. A combined effort from participants raised over $5,400, which was put into a trust fund for the most precious gifts in Chubbs’ life—his three lovely daughters.

Although there are no definite plans as of yet, Simply Choice has stated they would like to hold a show next year in memory of Chubbs. If you are interested in continuing to “give some Chubb,” please contact Wendy, president of Simply Choice Car Club, or any member of FON.
