Another year means another FFF show to look forward to. Out here in Southern California, it doesn’t get much better than the event Forbidden throws at the Lake Perris Fairgrounds. With 550+ fullsize and minitrucks in the field, this SoCal bash delivered not only sheer quantity, but more quality rides than most one-day shows usually attract. A few past MT cover trucks checked in, and two overflowing handfuls of fresh feature trucks and innovative, in-progress projects surfaced this year. They will be making their print debut right here in your favorite magazine, so stay tuned.

Although tons of trucks from the farthest regions of California made it out, the Forbidden Fantasy Show ’N’ Shine isn’t just a homecoming rage for those of us living in the Golden State. We spotted license plates from Arizona, Texas, and Nevada, and their treks were most definitely rewarded with great weather, top-shelf customs at the show, and Cali’s own In-N-Out Burger—something we tend to tease out-of-state pals with on a weekly basis. Well, that and our year-round springtime temperatures.

If you haven’t treated yourself to a trip to the FFF show, or if you’ve simply taken a few years off, don’t let next 2012’s party pass you by.
