The editors of Mini Truckin', Sport Truck, Truckin', and 8-Lug magazines added another stop to the Havoc tour this year. The new stop was Fresno, California, the heart of the West Coast for customized trucks. Saturday morning of June 28th started bright and early for all of the eager show participants of the Havoc show, presented by Chevy trucks. The next two days could only promise nice rides, nicer women, and good times. The search for prime property inside one of the air-conditioned buildings was fierce. The vendors were already fine-tuned from setting up the previous day, so the only thing to do was crank up the music from Madhouse FX.
Several of the West Coast's finest rides made their way out to get a look at the competition and maybe even put their hand in on grabbing one of the top spots. Much to the delight of our sun-fatigued showgoers, there was a bikini contest that would give the healthiest man a heart attack. The very beautiful Cat took home the gold as reigning queen of all things bikini in Fresno.
The inaugural Havoc Fresno Show went off without a hitch and the second annual show looks to be better than ever. The show is penciled in for the last weekend of June and the Fresno Fair Grounds will still be its home.
